This is a big day for me...it's my only son's birthday. We will have a special dinner, steak and all that goes with it and cake and ice cream to top it off.
So this is just a short blog to say that it is a rainy day in the high desert where we are and we're celebrating my son's 54 BD. and, as an added bonus, today I made contact with a gyro pilot friend from years gone by. I had lost track of him because the doctors had been sending him from one hospital to another all over the area down the hill. I thought he was dead. What a joy to find someone from the old days that I thought was gone forever! At my age, old friends who share good memories with a person are very dear.
